MRI-guided HIFU-triggered supertargeted drug release

This study provides the proof-of-concept of using a magnetic resonance imaging-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound pulse for disintegrating and triggering release of a newly developed thermoresponsive wax-coated capsule, thus enabling temporally and spatially supertargeted drug release via the oral route.
