Vertebral elastoplasty proven safe and effective
The authors set out to evaluate technical success of image-guided elastoplasty – a novel method for percutaneous vertebral augmentation with a silicone elastomeric material. The procedure was successfully performed 19 times which led the authors to say elastoplasty seems to be a safe procedure that provides effective pain control.
